ABOUT CTAST
Connecticut Assembly of Surgical Technologists (CTAST) formed in 2003 when the Association
of Surgical Technologists (AST), the national organization encouraged local chapters to form
into one state organization to give each state more lobbying power and a more recognizable identity.
You are automatically a member of CTAST when you register as a member of the national organization.
A portion of your yearly dues to the national organization is diverted to the state organization.
